JOB RACKETTERING IN NAUTH- DR UGBOAJA, CMAC, BOARD CHAIRMAN FINGERED
As a patriotic citizen of Nigeria, who see corruption as the major problem facing the country, I have tried unsuccessfully for over 4 months now with facts to convince the regular conventional Nigerian Media to publish the rot happening in NAUTH to no avail.
Its however disheartening that such will continue to happen while the actors in the art will be left to go scot free. Tomorrow same people will point to Obiano and Buhari as the cause of lack of employment in the country, while they sell the few available ones to the highest bidder.
Its common knowledge that NAUTH has become a breeding ground for criminals who have nothing to do but swindle funds from desperate Nigerians who are not qualified, in other to get them Jobs that would have been given to the qualified ones.
The recent event leading to the death of Dr ifeanyichukwu is a testament to the complete collapse of Health care services in NAUTH. Its very sad reading the reaction of NAUTH management on regular media and in online publications, calling for caution not to politicize the death of Dr Ifeanyichukwu.
Its insulting to say the least, that the said release did not address the matter at hand. It was however a mere reaction to a write up from a social media activist Anunuebe Nnewi, who took the management of the hospital to the cleaners, for their failure to take proper care of their own because of petty politics. My findings however showed that the CMD, Prof Anthony Igwegbe of NAUTH never gave the release, but the said release came from the desperate Dr Ugboaja who has sworn to take the position of CMD unless heads will roll.
At the recent job employment in NAUTH, it was discovered that Jobs were sold to the highest bidder. For instance, a consultant position was given at a price, ranging from 2.5-3 million naira per slot.
Other doctors position were sold for 1-1.5 million naira.
Nurses, lab scientists, physiotherapy and pharmacy departments paid between 800,000-1 million naira. Other positions ranged from between 400,000-800,000 naira.
This is a known fact in the hospital. but those that got involved are afraid to say so, to avoid loosing their jobs or begin victimized by Dr Ugboaja and the Chairman Board who are the arrow heads of this racket.
How can you expect dedication from someone who paid his way to get a job, when all he cares is about the money paid for the job. Is this how Nigeria will be better?
It's a common knowledge that the CMAC facilitated the sales of this racketeering in part for members of board and for himself to raise fund to prosecute his ambition of becoming next CMD, which he has vowed to get unless he will set the hospital on fire, and went on to start with Dr Ifeanyichukwu and came back to call for calm.
Very unfortunately the outgoing CMD Prof Anthony Igwegbe a good and humble man to the core, was sidelined in all the sales, because they knew that he will never participate in such debasing and dehumanising act.
Unfortunately, some prominent members of Nnewi community colluded with him to swindle people of money to give them jobs, which is against civil service rules.
Its instructive to also note that as at yesterday the agents of CMAC, Dr Ugboaja paid back 3 persons their money who has not been given employment, to avoid exposing their criminals activities.
With these kinds of decay, its obvious that many mediocres will be gambling with people's life, if placed in positions of authority. unfortunately I saw this Dr Ugboaja in Abuja going from one office to the other in insistence that he is best for the Job of the CMD. He today parades himself as the next CMD in Nnewi, a position that is not befitting of his personality.
A stitch in time they say saves nine. The CMAC should be immediately arrested and investigated by DSS, EFCC and ICPC, and possibly review the last employments made at NAUTH, because it was fraught with fraud.
Since the conventional media have refused to live up to their billing, this I have done, while giving security agencies the clue about the persons mentioned above. I have belled the cat which many refused to do.
I remain my Humble self
